Prep: Lettered three times for head coach Brad Stoll ... A second team all-state selection in 2006 ... Also named Second Team All-Sunflower League and Sunflower League Honorable Mention in his career ... Helped lead the Lawrence Raiders to back-to-back summer league state championships and a Central Plains Region championship in 2006 ... Participated in the Greater KC Metro All-Star game as well as the Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches All-Star game in 2006 ... Also played two years of football at Lawrence High ... Earned Sunflower League Honorable Mention twice as the team's quarterback.
