The Olympia Athletics are a non-league collegiate summer baseball team affiliated with the Kitsap BlueJackets. The team is made up of collegiate players from the local area and players from the surrounding small colleges. The Athletics will begin their inaugural season under Head Coach Josh Adams and will play a thirty games road schedule from June 8th to July 22nd against teams in the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League (WCCBL) and the Pacific International League (PIL).

As a feeder team for the BlueJackets, Athletics players are signed under a BlueJacket contract. At the start of the summer season the BlueJackets will carry an initial roster of twenty-four players. WCCBL rules require that all teams set their rosters at twenty-eight players by July 18. The four remaining roster spots, it is hoped, will be filled by Athletics players as they showcase their talents against the WCCBL and PIL teams.

The goals of the Olympia Athletics are:
1) to support local college players
2) to add depth to the Kitsap BlueJackets
3) to develop future players for the Kitsap BlueJackets
